Our Gratitude… and Happy Holidays

Legend is a big believer in saying thank you and acknowledging every single person that contributes to our clients’ success. We especially love this time of year because, for a brief moment in the calendar, things quiet down for the holidays. For those of us that produce conferences, meetings, fundraisers, award shows, and corporate videos, the holidays represent a slight pause in the schedule.  A welcome few weeks to be with friends and family gives us pause to reflect on the year that was, and the new beginning that lies ahead in 2017.

More importantly, I’d like to use this time and space to give thanks to so many people that are part of this wonderful Legendary life.   First and foremost, we want thank the many individuals that make up our team… our staff, our freelancers that are family to us, our crews, partners, and subcontractors.  This is a special group of professionals – tireless in their efforts to please our clients and their audiences, passionate about what they do, and the most excellent in their crafts.  We could not serve our clients as well as we do without the love we have for one another.

I’d like to thank the families and significant others of our our employees and freelancers.  Anyone in the event or video production business will acknowledge that it’s an extraordinary physical and mental commitment to projects – whether a one night event in midtown Manhattan, or a ten day offsite in Dubai. The time spent planning, detailing, designing, creating, emailing, editing and producing oftentimes means sacrifice.  We appreciate that sacrifice.

Last, but not least, I want to thank our clients.  We’ve been at this business of producing global events and videos for nearly 30 years.  We love what we do, and we could not do it without the trust and loyalty of our clients that put their most high level events in our hands.  We consider our clients to be friends, and there’s nothing more rewarding than to have a client vendor partnership turn into a friendship.

So, as each of us celebrate the Holidays and New Year, we hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on the people that make a difference in your life and contribute to your business success, and say thank you.

Please enjoy a short 90 second video we put together to introduce our core team and wish you a Happy Holiday.

With Love,
Legend Productions

Embracing Opportunity. Oh, and a new Legend website!

When we at Legend Productions decided to revamp our website, I was excited for the possibilities. I didn’t feel like our previous website appropriately represented the event production company I was working for.   When I was tasked with leading the charge on the website creation, I was even more thrilled to have been given the opportunity.

I must admit, I had zero experience creating a website, but I seized this opportunity as one to grow my skills and push my limits.   Our culture of learning at Legend Productions inspired me to take this challenge and run with it.

Our team practices what we preach. When a client has a goal or idea in mind, our response is “of course we can do it.” We’re always curious, and forever learning the newest techniques in production. So even if we’re exploring something we’ve not done before, our culture thrives on the challenge. Our team really knows what it takes to make an idea come to life. We view it as an opportunity to learn and better ourselves, and the company, in the process.

Everything we do at Legend Productions is a team effort, and our new website is no exception. When we combine our talents, we end up with a product that is truly great. Our passion drives us to deliver results that both our clients and we can be proud of.

So with that, I proudly invite you to visit our website at legendproductionsinc.com. It’s mobile friendly, so break out your phone.  I hope that it will bring us together for a project soon. For 28 years (long before I started), Legend has been traveling the globe producing corporate events and corporate videos for our clients. Let’s start a conversation.

Can a Video Production Company Produce TV-Quality Video?

video production company nycEver watched the Emmys or Grammys, The Tonight Show, or Saturday Night Live and wondered how they manage to produce all those breathtaking special effects?

Well, part of it is that they have seasoned professionals who can do pretty much anything. These folks are at the absolute top of their fields.

They’re also using incredible technology. In a lot of cases, it’s technology that didn’t even exist a year ago. But in video production, there’s no time to stop and learn. You have to hit the ground running, constantly finding new ways to embrace the latest looks and effects.

Now, you may be thinking, “That’s all well and good for the entertainment world. But we could never find a video production company that would be able to deliver this level of technical sophistication at a price we could afford.”

That’s where you’d be wrong. At Legend Productions, we’re a video production company that leverages the very latest technology—the same stuff the best TV and movie teams are using—to deliver stunning results. Read more
